Funding

The 2nd Classics of Warsaw Festival is a cyclical celebration of classical music.

This is a cultural event of the Polish Presidency of the EU Council.

On April 15, 17 and 23, 2025, in the Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw, outstanding artists from Poland and Europe will meet and perform three concerts with a diverse repertoire drawing on the cultural heritage of Europe.

On April 15th at 6:30 PM, at the Royal Theatre, we will hear a recital by Italian violist Daniel Palmizio, commemorating the 275th anniversary of Johann Sebastian Bach's death. On April 17th at 6:30 PM, also at the Royal Theatre, the evening will be filled with chamber music masterpieces – WA Mozart's String Quintet in G minor and Ernest Chausson's Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Quartet. The festival will conclude on April 23rd at 6:30 PM with a concert in the Ballroom of the Palace on the Isle, featuring Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Seasons. The performance will be performed by the young Italian violinist from Naples, Riccardo Zamuner, accompanied by the chamber orchestra of students from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.

A group of distinguished artists from Poland, Italy, Greece, Japan, and Switzerland were involved in the event. The festival also includes workshops and lectures for young music enthusiasts.

The concerts are open to the general public and offer free admission.
